Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

This page is provided for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and its amendment, the CPRA, and for residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), and other states with similar opt-out rights.
1. Does LiveGrid sell personal information?
No. LiveGrid Music Corp, LLC (“LiveGrid”) does not sell personal information in the traditional sense — we have never and do not exchange user data for money.
However, “sale” and “sharing” under the CCPA/CPRA have broad definitions that may encompass certain uses of data for cross-context behavioral advertising. To be direct: LiveGrid does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. We do not have advertising partners that use your data to build profiles for ad targeting on other sites.
The third parties who do receive your data (Stripe for payments, Sentry for error monitoring, Cloudflare for CDN/security, Resend for transactional email) receive only what they need to provide their services and are contractually prohibited from using it for advertising. This is a service-provider relationship, not a sale.
We publish this page because (a) the law requires it if you offer the right to opt out, and (b) our data practices may change, and you deserve an easy way to exercise your rights whenever you need to.

3. Submit an opt-out request
Even though LiveGrid does not currently sell or share personal information for advertising, you may submit a formal opt-out request below. We will record your request in our audit log and contact you if our data practices ever change in a way that would affect you.

4. Identity verification
We are required to verify your identity before fulfilling a privacy request to prevent fraudulent requests on your behalf.
- If you are signed in to LiveGrid, your identity is already verified through your account.
- If you are submitting without an account, we will send a verification email to the address you provide. Click the link in that email to confirm the request.
- We may ask for additional information if the email address you provide is not associated with a LiveGrid account and we cannot verify ownership.
5. Response time
We will acknowledge opt-out requests within 10 business days and confirm the completed action within 45 calendar days of receipt, as required by California law. If we need more time (up to an additional 45 days), we will notify you and explain the reason.
6. Authorized agents
California residents may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on their behalf. To do so, the agent must submit the request with a written permission signed by the resident. LiveGrid may verify the resident’s identity directly before processing the request.
