Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 8, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how LiveGrid Music Corp, LLC (“LiveGrid,” “we,” “us”) uses them on the LiveGrid platform, and how you can control them. Read this alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They let the site remember your actions and preferences over time — so you don’t have to re-enter information every time you come back or navigate between pages. The term “cookies” in this policy also covers similar storage technologies: localStorage, sessionStorage, and tracking pixels.
2. Categories of cookies LiveGrid uses
Essential
Always active| Cookie / key | Purpose |
|---|---|
| lg_session | Authenticates your signed-in session |
| lg_csrf | CSRF token that protects form submissions from cross-site attacks |
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare bot-management challenge token (set by CDN on the LiveGrid domain) |
Functional
Optional| Cookie / key | Purpose |
|---|---|
| lg_prefs | Stores your theme choice (light / dark / system) and locale preference |
| lg_banner_dismissed | Records that you have already seen and dismissed the cookie consent banner |
Analytics
Optional| Cookie / key | Purpose |
|---|---|
| sentry-sc / _sentryReplaySession | Sentry session-replay and error-attribution tokens — used only to reproduce crashes and performance issues, never for advertising |
Marketing — not currently used
LiveGrid does not currently use advertising cookies or share data for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, this policy will be updated and you will be notified before any marketing cookies are set.
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties whose code runs on LiveGrid pages. LiveGrid does not control these cookies directly.
- Stripe — when you reach a payment step, Stripe’s payment iframe sets cookies in its own domain (
stripe.com) to detect fraud and remember payment method preferences. These are governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy. - Cloudflare — as our CDN and DDoS-mitigation provider, Cloudflare may set cookies (
__cf_bm,cf_clearance) to distinguish bots from humans and to cache content. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. - Sentry — our error-monitoring provider uses session storage to correlate error events within a single browser session. Sentry does not use cookies for advertising. See Sentry’s Privacy Policy.
4. How to manage your cookie preferences
LiveGrid’s cookie banner
On your first visit we display a cookie banner where you can accept or decline functional and analytics cookies. Essential cookies are always active and cannot be turned off through the banner because the site cannot work without them.
If you are signed in
You can review and update your preferences at any time from Account Settings › Privacy & data.
Browser-level controls
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in from working.
- Chrome: Settings › Privacy and security › Cookies and other site data
- Safari: Settings › Safari › Privacy › Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings › Cookies and site permissions › Manage and delete cookies
