Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: May 8, 2026
LiveGrid connects artists, venues, and patrons across the live-music industry. To keep that community trustworthy and functional, everyone who uses the platform — whether booking talent, listing a venue, or attending a show — must follow these rules. This policy is part of and incorporated into the Terms of Service.
1. Permitted uses
You may use LiveGrid to:
- Discover, book, and perform at live-music events as an artist, venue, or patron.
- Build a professional profile that accurately represents your identity, credentials, musical style, venue capacity, and booking history.
- Communicate with other users through LiveGrid’s messaging tools to negotiate and confirm bookings.
- Connect third-party accounts (Spotify, Apple Music, LinkedIn) to enrich your profile, as long as you have the right to share that data.
- Use the 2 Degrees discovery feature to find connections, musicians, and venues in your extended professional network.
- Embed or share LiveGrid artist and venue profile links on external websites and social media.
2. Prohibited conduct — general
You may not:
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate. This includes unwanted contact, hate speech, slurs, and content that degrades or threatens anyone based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Impersonate others. Do not create an account or profile that misrepresents your identity as another real person, artist, band, or venue. Parody accounts require clear labeling.
- Engage in fraud or deception. This includes fabricating booking history, fake reviews, false credentials, inflated audience metrics, or shill accounts.
- Spam or send unsolicited bulk messages. Do not send mass messages, promotions, or solicitations to users who have not engaged with you first.
- Scrape or mass-download data. Automated scraping, spidering, or bulk export of user profiles, pricing data, or search results is strictly prohibited without written consent.
- Circumvent the booking system. If a venue and artist are introduced through LiveGrid, routing subsequent bookings off-platform to avoid the platform fee is a material breach of the Terms of Service. This applies for 12 months from the date of the introduction.
- Upload malware or exploit vulnerabilities. Do not upload malicious code, attempt to access accounts that are not yours, or test for security vulnerabilities without prior written authorization.
- Violate others’ privacy. Do not post personal information about someone else without their consent, including contact details, photos taken without permission, or location data.
3. Music-industry-specific rules
- Copyrighted material. You must have the necessary rights — including synchronization, mechanical, and master recording rights — for any audio or video you upload to your profile. LiveGrid is not a license clearinghouse. Uploading cover recordings or music for which you do not hold performance or recording rights may result in takedown and account action.
- Unauthorized cover performances. If you perform covers at a booked show, you represent that the venue holds the necessary performing-rights licenses (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, or equivalent) for those performances. Artists should confirm this before accepting a booking.
- Ticket scalping and secondary markets. Using LiveGrid to resell event tickets at inflated prices, or to automate ticket-purchase processes for resale, is prohibited.
- Fake or ghost gigs. Posting non-existent booking opportunities to harvest artist contact information, test platform mechanics, or manipulate search ranking is prohibited. Venues must have a genuine intent to book when creating a job.
- Misrepresenting performance rights. Artists may not claim membership in performing-rights organizations, industry associations, or union affiliations (AFM, SAG-AFTRA, etc.) that they do not hold.
- Pay-to-play schemes. Venues may not charge artists an up-front fee to perform or require artists to sell a minimum number of tickets as a condition of booking. The platform fee paid to LiveGrid is not a pay-to-play arrangement.
4. Reporting violations
If you see content or behavior that violates this policy, please report it through the platform:
- Use the “Report” option on any profile, message, or booking.
- For urgent safety concerns, visit Trust & Safety in our Help Center.
- For legal issues (copyright, defamation, impersonation), email support@livegrid.alldayautomations.ai.
We take all reports seriously. We will not disclose your identity to the person you report unless required by law.
5. Enforcement
Violations of this policy are handled in proportion to their severity and frequency. Our general enforcement ladder is:
- Warning. For first-time or minor violations, we will issue a warning and remove the offending content. The account remains active.
- Temporary suspension. Repeated or moderately serious violations result in a 7–90 day suspension during which the account cannot book, apply, or message.
- Permanent ban. Severe violations — including fraud, harassment campaigns, CSAM, credible threats of violence, or systematic off-platform circumvention — result in permanent termination.
- Forfeiture of pending payouts. If an account is permanently banned for fraud, identity misrepresentation, or off-platform circumvention, LiveGrid may withhold pending payouts to offset verified harm to other users or to the platform. Funds will not be withheld for reasons unrelated to financial harm.
LiveGrid reserves the right to skip steps in the enforcement ladder for conduct that poses an immediate risk to safety or is illegal.
6. Appeals
If your account is suspended or terminated and you believe the action was in error, you may appeal within 30 days by emailing support@livegrid.alldayautomations.ai with the subject line “Account Appeal.” Include your username, the date of the action, and a brief explanation of why you believe it was incorrect. We aim to respond within 10 business days. Appeals for permanent bans related to safety or illegal activity will not be reversed.
